Twenty Keys for Success in your job and career

KEY # 1: Accept Work as God's gift, not as punishment. Ecclesiastes 5:19

KEY # 2: Recognise God as your true employer and celebrate your Boss. Ephesians 6:7

KEY# 3: Pursue work compatible with your abilities and interests. 1 timothy 4:14

KEY # 4: Learn everything Possible about your job. Proverbs 1:5

KEY # 5: Don't be a time thief. Ephesians 4:28, 5:16

KEY # 6: Keep a daily to-do list and establish deadlines. Ecclesiastes 3:1

KEY # 7: Ask for God's wisdom during decision making. James 1:5

KEY # 8: Use criticism to your advantage. Proverbs 13:18

KEY#9: Be honest about your mistakes. Proverbs 28:13 (Thomas Edison, He made ten thousands experiments before he developed the filament that would carry electric current and produce light. He made 9 999 mistakes. Yet, each one taught him what would not work and through the process of elimination, he discovered what would work. Edison was known to have said '' success is ninety nine percent perspiration and one percent inspiration''

KEY # 10: Be quick to ask for help and information when needed. Proverbs 24:5-6

KEY # 11: Assist others in their responsibilities whenever possible. Proverbs 3:27

KEY # 12: Project Jesus in genuine love and enthusiasm. 2 Timothy 2:24-25

KEY # 13: Do not spread garbage. Proverbs 21:23
KEY # 14: Project an attitude of forgiveness, mercy and favour on your job. Mathew 5:7
KEY # 15: Do more that is expected for you. Mathew 5:41

KEY # 16: Learn to Harness your anger and control your spirit. Proverbs 25:28

KEY # 17: Keep accurate records. Proverbs 27:23

KEY # 18: Avoid flattery and do not give undeserved praise. Proverbs 26:8,28

KEY # 19: Refuse the bondage of bribery and the influence of intimation. Proverbs 17:23, Jeremiah 1:8

KEY # 20: Make Jesus Christ your divine work partner. Ephesians 6:9
